Why psLens Runs Outside PeopleSoft

People ask a fair question when they first see psLens : why build it as a standalone Go web application instead of inside PeopleTools?

We leverage our robust SWS product which provides a bounded, reviewable access layer, and because a hypermedia stack lets us keep state, rendering, and security logic on the server without the weight of a SPA.
